Pirates Cove is about 7 miles south of San Luis Obispo in Calfornia. The beach forms a semi-circle that faces South, giving it gobs of great Sun exposure.
Off US Hwy 101 take exit 195 (Avila Beach) then turn left on Avila Beach Dr. Follow signs for Avila Beach for 2 miles.
On the right you will see a golf course. On the left will be a road going up hill.
Turn left on Cage Landing Road. Follow the road to the end. Follow the trail down to the beach.
